Five One-Hundred-Millionths of a Second

That is how long a club-face meets the ball according to this USGA “Science of Golf” video that examines friction and spin. Some very cool extremely slow-mo and super zoomed shots of a wedge hitting the ball – you can see the water spurting out of the grooves.
