Links Golf Club

Saturday, April 6 is the first official tournament of the 2013 Links Golf Club Season.  The tournament format will be a 2 Person Better Ball (Net) competition.  Participants  on each two person team play their own golf ball throughout the round. On each hole, the two team members compare scores, and the lower of their two net scores counts as the team’s score. Example: On the first hole, Player A scores a net 5 and Player B scores a net 4; “4” is the team score for Hole 1.

Welcome to the 2013 Links Golf Club tournament season!  The official Men’s tournament season will be held from April 6th through October 27th.  The website has been updated with information about our weekly weekend tournaments, Club Championship competitions and other important Annual competitions.  Details about the Women’s Competitions will follow at a later date.

The Men’s weekend tournament results for October 27 and 28 have been posted on the Men’s Weekly Results pages.  Congratulations to the winners!

The women’s weekend tournament results have been updated to include all tournaments through October 27.  Congratulations to all the winners!

The pairings for October’s End of the Month Major Tournament have been posted under the End of the Month Major tab.  Please check in no later than 9:30AM for the 10:00AM shotgun start.  Starting hole assignments will be provide by the Golf Shop when you check in.  Duplicate names in the same group indicate that the Golf Shop was not informed of the specific players in that fourball.

The End of Month Major Tournament is scheduled for this coming Saturday, October 27.  Participants have the option of scheduling their own fourball OR signing up to have their fourballs determined by random draw.  If you haven’t done so already, please contact the Pro Shop today to sign up!
